My answer is a No. But to prevent and stay firm being a No, will have to be more meticulously in remarks make. We may think that it is alright to say it but to those kay-po people, they just love adding words and modified what is said, which isn't what it really mend. Therefore the best thing is just smile when they are bad-mouthing around you or avoid. Rather be alone sometimes than be with such who may create a havoc in our peaceful life. But to practice it is near impossible. Its not just common nowadays, but rather, the results from several generations as the world becomes more and more competitive. I know the word 'more competitive' does not make any excuse for such actions in human beings. I would put it as one of the justification for such change in the world. The mentality of 'kiasu', the mindset of being the 1st in everything we do had slowly moulded us as such individuals; putting others down while we step on their backs to climb up the corporate ladder. Need we say more? It actually depends on individuals and their morals to prevent such actions from happening. And we totally have no control over what others were to say or do to the counterparts. What we can do as an individual is to take it into our stride, adapting ourselves to these environment and slowly move on from there. Realistically, its difficult to change the world.
