It definitely takes a lot more to stand your ground.
Regardless the direction of the wind.
Because winds change direction.
Every now and then.
They come and they go.
As kingdoms rise and kingdoms fall.
As the cold wind blows…
Do we stay or do we go?
Look not at each sea wave that rushes ashore towards destruction.
But the far horizon of the sea.
Let the music play again
Let the songs all stay the same
Take the pieces of your life
Send the message to the sky
Take a look inside of you
Tell me what to say and do
Mend the pieces of your mind
Let not the world but you decide

Sometimes even someone who is always firm in their ground will be sway with the wind.
It might be peer pressure or other factors.
It all determines on ourselves what we wants.
But sometimes the outcome is not what we think we will stand on it.
Anyway, have you watch any episode on Star for a Cause? I think this variety was real awesome and heartwarming. It is a must for me to watch it every thurs. Every episode will make me learn something. And finally next week is your episode. =)

to stand firmly isn’t easy but…
with enough determination and enough thinking of where you wanna go or stay shldnt be a problem. Why go with the crowd when you have ur own stand and mind of your own. Thats what I go by. =)

It’s good to follow your heart sometimes. Know how it feels like and go with the flow of life. Emotions run wild easily, so it’s best I think, to use brains-logic and at the same time your heart-emotions, love, to make better decisions. That way, it’s not so easy to be swayed.
Well that’s just me, I’ll never do something that I wouldn’t enjoy in the end!
Listen to your heart, soul and mind…

We Stay.. no matter where the wind direction is or how strong it blows, even the cold wind blows, still we stay – for all we can do to help ourselves is the firm stand we have, giving all we can even with distraction, even when the answer is not what we suppose to receive, still we must stay…
I will stay no matter where the wind sway,will stand firmly on the ground and be true to oneself
Do not let others lead you on,don try to fit in,stand out and keep true to yourself
Most important is to follow your heart and mind
To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishments
As for me,I will always be myself and stay true to who I am and will never change :-)

i undestand what u mean. one moment u may be very popular and the next not popular. the pressure in this industry is intense. as long as you keep honing your acting skills, doing the right thing, the wind should be blowing in your direction. press on!

wow.. you really have alot of things in your mind… well, why can’t you think it simplier.. Cos people complicate things.. if you think it in a positive and simplier way, life will be better.. you can think alot, make things more complicated and live in agony or, think positive, living in a world of peace and happiness…^^.. it’s all about what you think..^^ your moods can also affect the people around you.. so, we must always be cheerful.. i know you can do it!! you are a sunshine boy, right?.. erm.. man.. haha.. jiayou!! Hmm… Actually, it depends. Just do it if something came to our mind. Face it bravely. Make precise decisions. And lastly, respect people’s decision, too.
In chinese, we say 看走眼. In actual fact, if we didn’t try to understand what people feel and always be in ourselves, we won’t know what is TRUE and which should be that way to be in people’s shoes. Eventually, this is where “emo” comes…
So, 千万不要看走眼。 努力争取，去明白人心， 了解他人的哀愁、 快乐。
it’s true. as actor or actress, wind direction keeps changing. some pple after winning certain award, was blown away once and for all, never to return. but the pple who do well are those who do not fake, are sincere and have “guan zhong yuan”. for guys, the wind is more consistent. for gals, pple get turned off by those who try too hard, overly ambitious, pretentious and try ways and means to draw media attention to themselves.
elvin, your hard work is noted. remember to relax on screen. don’t try too hard. be natural. one important reminder which is your strength. you have a likable face, ie “guan zhong yuan”. you just got to improve your acting by being relaxed about it. if it’s yours, it’s yours. if it’s not, it never will be. sometimes, this is called grace. best wishes.

Difficult decisions to make…
Vacillation to resolute…
Because tomorrow is unknown…
It may rise, it may fall…
Staleness stands and coldness blows…
Nearest option with familiarity…
Or furthest option and be reinvigorated…

Or is it the familiar ground you prefer to stay on for?

I was impressed with the Stars for a cause and the stuff u did for the children and the family.
It is really meaningful and I guess it does mean a lot to you at that moment in time to be able to be a part of the team.

watched the “Star for a Cause” and i reali enjoyed watching how you and the rest of the volunteers, as well as the villagers helped one another…. very heartwarming… The widower with so many kids, she’s really very pitiful.. wished all of us could’ve helped them more… Hmmmm, can we do anything to help???

As promised, i watched your ep of “Stars for a Cause”. Haha, you have so many firsts in this trip. Surprised to find out that you have been really pampered at home! Hey, hope that you are now doing more things on your own. Be more independent.
Overall, glad to see that you are happy coz you’ve help the people who were in need.
