He entertained, but at his own expense.
These days, the clown wears a smile on his face.
A painted smile?
A forced mask?
Or an evolved clown?
The clown no longer wears an inverted smile.
Maybe, the clown has learnt to smile.
And really smile.

haha.. This is more like a riddle with no answers. Quite an interesting way to put it.- The Clown, whether a genuine smile or not.
Their faces are already painted with the red gigantic lifted upwards. haha. I guess they just have to flash their teeth, and nobody can really tell if it’s real or not.
Just have to find the clown that loves his job. Ask Ronald McDonald? lol..

I heard my English teacher said that. He said, no matter what happens to someone, whether it is some thing good or bad happened to ourselves and people around us, we must always face people with a smile coz don’t inflict others that are innocent.
Whether a clown smiles or not, we can’t really see. The ‘smile’ is painted and he or she will just entertain people, making people laugh.
However, just really want to say that one needs to express his sadness or happiness to good friends that really listen and kepp your secret. If not, maybe mental sickness will happen? Just like Huang Kaijie in “THE GOLDEN PATH”?

This is an interesting phrase. The hour before dawn is always the darkest. But do you know that after the darkest is where the light is coming after it breaks dawn. So in every darkest moment, there will be a bright light waiting to shine.
Very paradoxical but if wait long enough and do not give up hope in whatever you are doing, the breakthrough will come.
An inverted smile or a lifted smile, they are both drawn, man made. Perhaps sometimes faking a smile can eventually lead to a real, genuine smile? That’s how life goes, smile genuinely and you will be replied with genuine smiles in return.
By the way, the day when I saw you, you were smiling very genuinely, that’s one thing I’m sure of. And a genuine smile never fails to perk up one’s heart. =)

Original clown or evolved clown, it doesn’t matter, does it? As long as it is the same clown, and he/she’s true to him/herself; an inverted smile, a forced smile, a real smile, they are all the smiles of the clown. If the clown is genuinely happy, he/she will smile from within.
Good to learn how to smile even if it is as a clown … still smile…

ive always wondered if clowns are truly happy ppl behind the all-too-happy smiling faces.. or are they merely facades?

A clown cheers us up …though he may not necessarily be happy inside him. Like you, an actor acts out the role for his audience though he may not really be the role/character himself. It is a job unless one chooses to think otherwise. It is the attitude that makes the difference. We look forward to see your genuine smile.

elvin, the ideal is that people should be true to each other. but thats if it ideal. real life is that.. nothing is perfact. finger got long to short, so does people/human.
i know you’ve been to some simple place and your very kind at heart to be true but your from city n work in a job where mask is the logo. so.. sadly.. dont just have to wear one.. got to in a way be mulit layer.
im used to be very frank n real to whatever i think n feel n want.
but come to learn that it doesnt earn me or even the other anything.
i’ve think that, i’ll be always myself n true.. if others cant take or dont like is their problem.. at less im real. human in natual sometime just cant take facts.
… dont know how i should explain it more. i feel how you feel. is part of life. hard to take it or change it but it got to be. dont be a clown that smile.. also got be a clown that looks asleep. =)
