Put in more facial expressions. In the past, your role is the good, mama boy and it would not work out well on you all the time. Yuwu is really an experienced actor now. He jumps in and out of characters with no string attached, which means he is always ready to take a new character role. How impressive was ChenXi in the Little Nyonya, he has never commented about his success in that role. Though I know he is a little disappointed for not winning the Best Actor Award, I guess he needs to work hard on another role to win it. Outside army and in our jobs, sometimes we need to do as asked ...but deep inside us, we may asked ourselvs WHY? ...we may know it is illogical but our hands may be tied at times. If we don't follow or do not agree with the reasons, then, we may have to LL if we wanna keep our jobs ...That's life - isn't it? Elvin went on a proper diet to get that look to fit into the role. His well-chiseled face is every photographer’s dream photo in the making. He has also toned his body just about right – not too muscular or soft. On screen, Elvin looks every bit a leading male star. I know some of you may have an issue with his acting skills. Some felt his performance in ‘The Ultimatum’ was overly-exaggerated. Let me tell you this: Elvin doesn’t just brush that aside and pretend the issue wasn’t there. He once told me frankly at the imaging session of ‘Together 当我们同在一起’ that he felt he was a bit ‘slow’ – as in 开窍 or 领悟 in the art of acting and he is working hard on it… Elvin knows it and is determined to improve. This guy is a real down-to-earth humble fellow who wants to perfect his skills. My Promo Editor commented earlier on that he was worried about not finding impressive scenes of Elvin to craft good promo trailers. But he was pleasantly surprised that Elvin managed to emote well in quite a fair bit of scenes in this new show unlike his previous dramas. Elvin has what it takes to be a star.
