December 23, 2009birthdays are a strange thing
you’re pleasantly surprised by people whom you do not expect to hear from or who do not have to remember it’s your birthday but do so unfailingly
while those whom you expect or hope to hear from you do not hear from
each message received meant a lot to me and made me feel special
i went to the beach at night last year and this year i nearly went to the beach
maybe i shall do so later this 23rd night

after reading your post, i guess it makes a difference in a way or another. maybe that person will think of me for a minute. well, it may be just a minute.. but at least for that one minute every year, i’m on that person’s mind. i think that’s good enough.

Hmmm when i was younger, i dont like to celebrate my birthdays nor get presents.. because of one person… i wanted his birthday greeting the most so badly but he never did once wished me or remembered.. it got to me so bad that i just ignore my birthdays because it hurts to know the one u cared for the most… u won’t get it, the rest just doesnt matter anymore..
but i grew out of it!! haha.. i counted my other blessings and is grateful for that..
so many other more lovely pple out there i shld be thankful to… yeay happy birthday!
