I use to think birthday, only once in 365 days is a big affair. I want everyone to remember, I want everyone to celebrate for me. But after reading your previous post on birthday, I just realised birthdays is when you expect the least, you will actually get more at the end. Just simple wishes from friends makes me satisfied already. Birthday is just an ordinary day when people makes you feel really special. Kids were more excited about presents and teenagers preoccupied with celebrations with friends. After 21, birthdays really mean nothing maybe just a direct reflection on your goals and aims for the future. U start to set targets for yourself to achieve within a fixed period of time. By early 30s, some would be busy with family plannings and stuff. Aftterwhich, birthdays are meant to be a day for your kids to surprise you with gifts. And the cycle continues...
