February 10, 2010there will always be bias but the problem is when you’re so obviously biased in your judgement, you should really stop trying to influence or overshadow others with your blatant bias, or favouritism, whatever you call it. thank you.
it has always been my intention to write my blog in a way that it is neither a re-ferral nor a re-action to anyone or anything, and it will continue to be so but i regret that this entry should be so.
In this world, there are no fairness. Even if there are, it is always not being noticeable. Cos biasedness is too obvious carrying it out compared to fairness.
No one can be influence/overshadow others easily as the way they want.
And no one can judge a person if they are practicing favouritism.
Elvin, we enjoy writing to you just to encourage you. We find you so humorous in your writings, trying to challenge a certain principles in our lives with you. My believe is simple. If you deserve to win, then you should win. if you do not deserve to win, then you should not win.
Now I am learning to take Star Awards lightly, if it is yours, then it will be yours. If it not yours, then try harder next year, again next year and again next year until you are closed to perfection in your acting to win.
I know your new drama is quite challenging, at the sea perhaps most of the time (I am guessing). Just enjoy filming, lah.
negative – biasedness
positive – resolved, determined
blatant biasedness – courage to influence
every one is biased depending on the occasion. u 2 right, elvin? one time or another. depending on which side u r on.
i always ask myself – what is my cost and cause? do u feel strongly about it. speak it. advocate it. blatant or not. it doesn’t matter. within acceptable framework be blatantly biased even if the other party objects, cos he’s on the other side and i’m on my side.
NO ONE IS ABSOLUTELY RIGHT OR WRONG ANYWAY, ANYHOW..

I believe biasedness is everywhere.
No one can overshadow one person, for no 2 are the same in this world. Everyone is unique in his or her own way.
influencing ppl in the wrong way is known as corrupting n polluting ppl’s mind. We shld judge by ourselves not announce to the whole world by your own biasedness or favouritism.

Isn’t the “you” a re-ferral or reaction to anyone or anything?? Why below??? You mean you just wrote the above for no reasons? There must be reason behind the writings rite?? Anyway I guess I don’t have to get it since I will never get the answers. It’s ok. Just “live in the moment”

You are right,there will always be biasedness,but being influence or overshadow by others is really unfair to you.
No one can overtake who or replace who.
Everyone is special and unique in their own way

Everyone is entitled to his/her own views and be biased about it.
It is worse, when some people ‘abuse’ their ‘authority’ to influence or slam others, let him/her be.
Do not get overly upset over it…thou the ‘damage’ caused can be great cos it is a mass media.
We can’t please everyone and we are not here to please anyone, anyway.
Just do what you feel is right …the truth prevail.

Not saying being biased is right or wrong but if what you write in your blog got a open space for others to write comments.. then is others freedom to write whatever they want too. unless you take away comment colume.. if not.. normal that there will be biased person..

Yes, unfairness and favoritism are always surrounding us. We have no choice to stop them. The only ways we can do are – remain who we are now, do what we like, ignore other people who are terribly bias and leave other things to God to decide.
Frankly, even now, when I’m only 16, I can already see bias in the ‘school community’. So, yes, what more to expect when I grow up … Sigh

Had a strange dream involving/about you today…hmm….
There is bias obviously in my workplace & often gets bully by colleagues…feel so sad :( though unhappy, this is the only place where I could felt that I am closer to . . ., but it may seems so near yet could be so distant.
